More Information
The full-size OV-10 Bronco was a highly versatile military aircraft used as a light attack and observation platform, offering a balance of speed, manoeuvrability and control between helicopters and jets. It proved effective in anti-guerrilla operations, air support and utility roles, serving during the later years of the Vietnam War and in Operation Desert Storm.
As a less commonly modelled warbird, the Hangar 9 OV-10 Bronco delivers a distinctive twin-engine flying experience with a high level of scale detail. Designed for giant-scale enthusiasts, it is supplied in ARF format and features a detailed satin-finish covering with panel lines, rivets and weathering, along with scale accessories such as cockpit details, pilot figure and external stores. Fully painted fibreglass cowlings further enhance the realistic appearance.
With a 2743 mm (108 in) wingspan, the model offers true giant-scale presence while remaining practical for regular flying. The three-piece plug-in wing with centre-section landing gear support allows for easier transport and assembly, while compatibility with 30–35 cc petrol engines or equivalent electric systems provides flexible power options. The scale undercarriage features sprung aluminium legs for improved shock absorption on rough terrain, and an optional electric retract system with scale struts adds further realism.
Combining detailed scale features with strong flight performance, the Hangar 9 OV-10 Bronco 30 cc offers a unique and capable twin-engine warbird experience suited to experienced pilots.
