The Weaver Aircraft Company of Ohio WACO was founded by aviators whose passion for flight and determination led them to produce more than 60 different aircraft models in just 28 years. This made WACO one of the leading aircraft manufacturers during the Golden Age of Aviation. In 1985, the founders of the Classic Aircraft Foundation set out to revive the iconic YMF design. Today, the E-flite UMX WACO continues that legacy as an updated and upgraded tribute that is easier and more enjoyable to fly than ever before. It is equipped with optional use SAFE Select, is compatible with both 2S and 3S batteries, and provides real time battery voltage telemetry to compatible transmitters. Thanks to its ultra micro size, the UMX WACO can be flown indoors in gymnasiums and similar spaces, or outdoors in yards, parks, and sports fields. It is an affordable, convenient, and easy to fly replica of a modern day classic, available in two trim scheme colour options.
This updated version of the E-flite UMX WACO features optional use SAFE Select for improved stability, along with exclusive Spektrum AS3X technology that delivers a smooth and controlled flying experience, even in light wind conditions. The factory installed brushless power system includes an upgraded 2S and 3S compatible outrunner motor. Use a 2S 280mAh battery for performance similar to the original model, or a 3S 300mAh battery for higher speed and strong vertical performance. The integrated control unit includes an ESC and Spektrum receiver that provides real time battery voltage telemetry to compatible Spektrum AirWare transmitters during flight.
Constructed from advanced EPS material, the airframe is lightweight yet durable. It is available in two trim scheme options, including a fully painted yellow version and a lighter unpainted white version. This Bind N Fly Basic model arrives 100% factory assembled and is ready to bind to your 5+ channel DSMX DSM2 compatible transmitter, allowing you to be airborne within minutes. The lightly loaded biplane design and ultra micro size make it ideal for indoor flying in gymnasiums or similar large spaces, as well as outdoor flying in a wide range of locations.
