The E-flite UMX Turbo Timber Evolution is a scaled down ultra micro version of the popular Turbo Timber Evolution 1.5m. It is also an updated version of the best selling UMX Turbo Timber, featuring a reinforced airframe and stronger linkages to handle the increased performance of its 2S and 3S compatible power system. The model includes LED landing, navigation, and strobe lights, along with real time battery voltage telemetry for compatible transmitters. Optional floats can be fitted for water flying, and its compact size allows it to be flown in a wide range of locations, including yards, parks, sports fields, and even indoor spaces such as gymnasiums.
Designed for a wide range of pilots, the UMX Turbo Timber Evolution combines easy handling with strong capability. It delivers smooth flight characteristics and excellent STOL performance, making it suitable for both progressing pilots and more experienced flyers. With a 3S 300mAh battery, it offers increased power and near unlimited vertical performance, while still remaining controllable at lower speeds. It is also capable of advanced aerobatic manoeuvres including inverted flight, knife edge, spins, and snaps.
Functional oversized flaps and optional leading edge slats improve low speed handling and short take off and landing performance. Oversized tundra style tyres allow operation from grass and uneven surfaces, while the landing gear design adds durability. The ultra micro size means it can be flown in relatively small outdoor areas, and by experienced pilots even indoors in larger spaces.
The model arrives fully factory assembled with reinforced construction and ball link equipped control linkages. Simply charge a battery, bind it to a compatible Spektrum transmitter, and it is ready to fly.
