Texas based Air Tractor was founded in 1978 and is a leading manufacturer of aircraft built for agricultural, firefighting, and utility applications. Its aircraft operate in more than 30 countries worldwide. Finished in a high visibility yellow and blue trim scheme with moulded panel lines and rivet detail, the E-flite UMX Air Tractor offers an authentic scale appearance. It features Spektrum AS3X and optional SAFE Select technologies, making it a suitable scale low wing model for intermediate to experienced RC pilots. Functional features include LED navigation and landing lights, flaps, and oversized tyres, combining realistic detail with practical capability.
Air Tractor aircraft are known for their stable handling and versatility, qualities reflected in the UMX version. The tuned motor and three blade propeller deliver strong performance on 2S 280–300mAh LiPo batteries, while a 3S setup provides increased power and near unlimited vertical performance without modification. Functional flaps improve low speed control and enable short take off and landing capability.
Its ultra micro size allows it to be flown in a wide range of locations, including yards, parks, and sports fields. Oversized tyres make it suitable for operation on paved, dirt, gravel, and some grass surfaces. The factory applied finish enhances visibility and scale realism, complemented by LED navigation, strobe, and landing lights.
