More Information

Pilots and instructors widely regard the Super Decathlon as one of the best aerobatic trainers in full scale aviation. Its design traces back to the Aeronca Champ and Citabria, later enhanced with inverted fuel and oil systems and a nearly symmetrical wing to allow confident inverted and “outside” manoeuvres. The E-flite Super Decathlon 1.2m continues that legacy, building on the success of the earlier Decathlon RJG 1.2m with the same proven performance, now finished in a highly recognisable trim scheme.

Designed for a wide range of pilots, it combines smooth, predictable handling with the capability for more advanced aerobatics. The wing design delivers stable sport flying for low time and intermediate pilots, while still allowing experienced pilots to perform more aggressive manoeuvres without the undesirable handling often associated with similar models.

The model features LED landing and navigation lights along with scale details that enhance realism. Upgraded digital metal geared servos with ball link equipped linkages provide precise and reliable control. The 3S and 4S compatible power system, paired with a 45A Spektrum Avian Smart Lite ESC, delivers strong performance across a broad flight envelope.

The Bind N Fly Basic version includes the Spektrum AR631+ receiver, offering real time telemetry along with enhanced AS3X+, optional SAFE Select, motor reversing, and Smart Transmitter File support. The one piece wing design allows for quick installation and removal, with snap in struts and no tools required, making transport and storage simple.

Finished in the distinctive red, white, and black starburst scheme, and equipped with practical features such as wheel pants and wing struts, the Super Decathlon 1.2m delivers a balanced mix of scale realism, ease of use, and aerobatic capability.
