The E-flite P-51D Mustang 1.0 m is a “sport scale” replica of the most popular and iconic fighter aircraft ever! Inspired by the original ParkZone “Ferocious Frankie” and “Gunfighter” models and as a taildragger alternative to the extremely popular E-flite T-28 1.1 m, it’s designed from the ground up to be a smaller and more affordable alternative to larger “full-house” P-51 models because not everyone is ready for the complexity of flaps and not all fields are suitable for retractable landing gear. But it’s also larger so it’s easier to see and can handle flying in more wind than smaller micro and ultra-micro class models – yet can still be flown at large parks and sports fields while being easy to transport without disassembly. This makes it a perfect first-ever low-wing, scale, and warbird model for low-time pilots who have mastered a trainer and a no-hassles everyday sport scale model for experienced pilots. And both versions include Spektrum digital, metal-geared servos, a 30A telemetry-capable ESC, plus a 3S and 4S compatible motor.
