The updated and upgraded HobbyZone Champ Anniversary Special Edition features Horizon Hobby exclusive SAFE Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope technology. This technology helps prevent overcontrol, loss of orientation, and crashes, enabling nearly everyone to learn to fly successfully. Beginner and Experienced modes allow you to choose the level of stability and control you need at the flip of a switch or push of a button. This makes the Champ an even better version of the trainer many pilots learned to fly with. It is also equipped with Spektrum 2.4 GHz DSMX technology, trusted by RC pilots around the world.

The fun continues long after learning to fly. The Champ powerful electric motor delivers long flight times and provides ample speed and power for basic aerobatic manoeuvres including loops and stall turns. This makes the Champ enjoyable for both new and experienced pilots and suitable for teaching others to fly.

The Champ arrives fully factory assembled and ready to fly with no assembly or setup required. The Ready-To-Fly version includes everything required for operation in one box and is ideal for pilots seeking maximum convenience and value. From the Spektrum MLP4DSM 2.4 GHz Controller Transmitter and included AA batteries, to the rechargeable 1S 150 mAh LiPo battery and USB charger, nothing additional is required. A Bind-N-Fly Basic version is also available for pilots who wish to use their own Spektrum compatible transmitter, batteries, and chargers.

Both versions utilise advanced EPS material to deliver a lightweight yet durable airframe that is easily repairable using foam safe adhesives. Should any components become damaged beyond repair, replacement parts are readily available. Optional higher capacity batteries and multi port chargers are also available separately for extended flight sessions.
