For newcomers, the ready-to-run simplicity and budget-friendly price also make it an ideal first rig. A factory-finished Pro-Line Coyote body tops it off with signature Axial realism.

The Coyote is more than an SCX10 III with a fresh body. Axial has taken its proven 1/10 scale platform to another level. All-new oil-filled shocks and revised shock towers provide increased adjustability. Overdrive gears in the front axle improve manoeuvring and climbing when fighting through gates. New sliders with smooth undersides improve break-over and body fitment. Officially licensed Maxxis Trepador tyres and KMC Grenade wheels, with dual-stage open cell foam inserts, add realistic looks and serious traction. A revised battery mount allows the pack to sit ahead of the transmission for better weight distribution and balance.

Axial also incorporates a clipless mounting system for the Pro-Line Coyote body, enhancing realism by eliminating visible body clips. The body hinges at the rear and removes completely for fast, hassle-free chassis access. There are no clips to lose. For maximum performance in tight sections, the body is pinched at the front, dovetailed and bobbed at the rear, and shaped only as wide as necessary. It threads through narrow obstacles and allows generous tyre clearance and suspension articulation.

These updates join the proven SCX10 III features that trail drivers already trust. The one-piece steel C-channel chassis reduces flex and improves suspension precision. The LCXU 4-wheel drive transmission uses all-metal internal gears and full ball bearings to handle rough terrain without complaint. AR45P portal axles provide additional ground clearance at the differential for gliding over uneven surfaces.

Adding to the Coyote’s value, the ready-to-run package includes a 2-channel Spektrum SLT2 radio designed to help all drivers succeed. If this is your first RC vehicle, the throttle limiting function lets you learn at 50% or 75% speed until you’re comfortable unleashing full power. Four AA transmitter batteries are included.
