When the full-size Megalodon storms into a stadium, Monster Jam fans of all ages scream. They love its massive fibreglass and foam shark body, with the piercing eyes, pointed fins, and gaping mouth full of pearly whites. There is no other monster truck like it, or like the ready-to-run Losi Mini LMT Megalodon RC version.

Losi introduced the original standard size LMT platform in 2020 and immediately set a high bar for solid-axle RC monster truck performance. Then Losi brought its off-road mini RC vehicle expertise to the design table a few years later to create the first Mini LMT 4x4 models. Small enough to fit in a backpack, the Mini LMT models preserve the larger LMT platform power-to-weight ratio for the same easy handling when racing and the same ability to flip and wheelie in freestyle.

The convenient, affordable, go-anywhere size of Losi Mini LMT models has made them widely popular with everyone from automotive enthusiasts and monster truck fans to RC hobbyists of all ages and skill levels. They capture the looks of their full-scale counterparts and perform great straight out of the box. More Mini LMT body styles have been eagerly anticipated. The wait is over, as Losi presents the Mini LMT Megalodon.

Several key differences separate the Megalodon from earlier Mini LMT monster trucks. Reproducing the complex shark body, complete with fins, teeth, and eyes, required a new, modern approach. Instead of the traditional vacuum-formed polycarbonate process, Losi created the Megalodon body from an injection-moulded composite. The fins are made of durable, colour-matched rubber to withstand impacts and harsh landings. The Megalodon also has a new fully removable cage with a handy twist-lock feature in front and back, and a new aluminium 4-link design that tapers from 6 mm at the centre section to 4 mm at the ends for increased durability.

You will need no previous RC experience to run the Mini LMT Megalodon. Anyone can enjoy some freestyle off-road fun on baseball diamonds, smooth dirt fields, and similar surfaces with minimal rocks. Take it on-road over garage floors, concrete driveways, and basketball or tennis courts. Move your monster truck rallies indoors on tile, hardwood floors, and short pile rugs and carpet. Add soup cans, cardboard ramps, and other household items to make a challenging mini Monster Jam racing course.
