The 1/10 scale Losi Ford F150 Raptor Baja Rey 4WD desert truck remains one of a kind, the only RC vehicle platform of its size with a true scale suspension and chassis setup. The closer you look, the more details you find. When you see it in action, it is easy to imagine living out your own desert racing ambitions.
Losi first released the Baja Rey in 2016. It quickly earned praise for exceptional handling, speed, and overall performance. An updated Baja Rey body style was introduced later, yet the platform itself proved so capable that it remained unchanged until now. The Baja Rey 2.0 introduces significant design improvements beneath the surface, delivering even greater performance across a wide range of desert terrain from trails to sand washes.
Like the previous version, the foundation of the Baja Rey 2.0 remains its strong 3 mm aluminium chassis plate with a 2.5 mm upper deck. Whether tackling whoops, absorbing large jumps, or running at full speed, the chassis is designed for durability. Updated front gearbox and rear axle designs, revised upper front arms and four link bars, and an additional damping shock further improve strength, tuning capability, and ease of maintenance.
Losi continues its collaboration with leading desert racing brands to deliver exceptional scale realism. The officially licensed Ford F-150 Raptor R body captures the aggressive styling of the full scale vehicle with detailed moulded features including the grille, hood vent, interior, and accessories. Officially licensed BFGoodrich KR3 tyres are mounted on Method 101 wheels, while the dual spare tyres remain fully functional.
Integrated LED lighting, including grille lights and a rear LED light strip, extends driving enjoyment beyond daylight conditions. The Baja Rey 2.0 is ready to run with the Spektrum Smart DX3 radio system and brushless power system compatible with 2S or 3S LiPo batteries. This combination delivers speeds of up to 80+ km/h (50+ mph), providing an authentic high performance desert driving experience.
